My pugs are messy eaters. They try to be picky eaters too. They love to pick the brown triangles out of their kibble and toss it out the bowl and eat all their favorite pieces first, which are the chicken bits. My kitchen floor ends up being a brown triangle hazard at dinner time. That’s why I got the Snug Pet Feeding Mat it helps me keep the mess to a targeted area.
They still toss out the brown triangles to get to the chicken bits first but at least it keeps the mess corralled to the feeding mat. They do go back later and eat the triangles once they realize Momma is not going to give them more chicken bits but since that is the last eaten my kitchen floor still ends up a mess when they get full.
I love the mat I can pick it up when they are done and empty it over the trash. No more getting the broom and dust pan out to clean up after they are done. It is easy to pick it up and put the leftovers in the trash. The mat can be placed in the dishwasher when it needs to be clean. I love the beige color it matches the floor nicely.
