PETPAV - A SOCIAL NETWORK FOR PETS

Several months ago I was surfing the web on information about pugs and any dog related sites to learn as much as I could since I had just gotten my pug and I happened across a link to a new social media site I had not heard of before, PetPav.

I clicked on it and set about looking around.  The first thing I noticed was it did not want my information but my pet's information. It was a social media site for pets.  I signed Olivia up.  Olivia is the social butterfly of Pug Squared, ok she is a internet hog and only lets Jaxon on sometimes. Immediately after creating Olivia's profile I was greeting by PetPav's creator Sammy.  My first feline friend.  Sammy welcomed us to PetPav and helped us learn to navigate the system.  Olivia quickly made other friends both doggie and kitty and even a couple of Pygmy Goats, Jasper and Moose.   Petpav is a social media site where pets rule and people drool.  Just kidding the pets love their humans but the site is mainly from the pet's perspective.  They do let their humans post once in a while but most of the time its the pets and their personalities shine.
Let's meet the PetPav founder Sammy
I am 18 1/2 yrs old and love to get into michief.
Olivia asked Sammy a few questions about PetPav

OLIVIA - How did you come up with the name PetPav?
SAMMY - It is short for Pet Pavillion a place that pets and humans can call home
OLIVIA - What made you want to create PetPav?
SAMMY - I found that there was a need in the market for a site that was fun and informational. A    place where pet owners and brag about their pets, get advice from other members and just have fun.
OLIVIA - What are you hoping to achieve with PetPav?
SAMMY - I would love PetPav to be the site where every pet owner feels as if they need to join to get their fix, see their friends, and just have fun. We have vets, dog trainers on the site and would like to see more of this sort of interaction.
OLIVIA - What are some of the challengers you face in managing PetPav?
SAMMY - The challenges are getting some people off Facebook and Twitter and onto Petpav. And, as we have grown the site, we constantly have to tweak it and upgrade the hosting to keep it working right.
OLIVIA - What are some of the rewards you get from managing PetPav?
SAMMY - Every day that I log into the site, I smile as there is nothing more rewarding than seeing our cute members be supportive of one another and brag about their pets. An idea that started on a piece of paper that has grown into a network of pet lovers.
OLIVIA - How do you become a Business of the Week on PetPav?
SAMMY - The pet business of the week is usually reserved for our advertisers and/or sponsors. However, if a new pet business joins and is very active.. they can be Pet business of the week.
OLIVIA - What is one your favorite aspects of the PetPav community?
SAMMY - Petpav is such a nice community of pet lovers. There is very little negativity and any  members that are not kind and respectful of each other is no longer welcome.
Here are a few other members of PetPav
Vlad and Barkly
a member since Sep 2013 says PetPav is a nice community that supports each other and they get to share similar interests and pet events happening all over.  The community looks out for each other like when Vlad was diagnosed with Addison's disease everyone was there showing love and support.

Jasper and Moose
We love that we can talk to other pet owners and meet new people. We can only post so many goat pictures on Facebook before our friends start going mad! Here, that's the norm!

Dixie and Rebel

Tiffany
loves the interaction with all the group members and seeing photos of everyone. She loves the support from PetPav members. Her favorite group on PetPav is the “Forever Home.” She loves to hear stories of everyone’s gotcha day!

So Pet friends come on over and check out PETPAV. Create a pet profile and join in the fun. Pet Business contact Sammy to see about becoming a sponsor or advertiser and you have a chance to become the BUSINESS OF THE WEEK.  For all the CONTEST LOVING friends they even do contest occasionally.  Come join the FUN! There is still time to ENTER the

WONDERVEG SLICER REVIEW

 #WonderVegSlicer

The WonderVeg Slicer is a great kitchen tool. I am so in love with this machine. It came neatly package in the box with all the attachments and a handing instruction manual and some easy to follow recipes. The slicer is very easy to put together. There really is nothing you need to put together it comes with three blades a chipper, shredder and slicer. The chipper blade makes long thick spiral strands like curly fries. The Shredder blade makes long thin noodles sized vegetables, perfect for making zucchini noodles. The slicer blade makes long thin chip like slices. The three blades are super sharp and cut the vegetables neatly. The slicer sits on 4 suction cut feet to ensure it does not move when in use. This allows for easier use and no getting away from you.
3 blades and ease storage for each blade

To attach a vegetable simple cut the tip off one end to make a flat surface to attach to the handle side and place the other end on metal ring on the other end to hold vegetables in place. Once in place simple crank the handle while applying pressure moving the vegetable along. It is super easy to do. The left over vegetable did give me a laugh. I made enough curly potatoes for the whole family in a matter of minutes. I simply pulled out the blade and replaced it to move on to making zucchini noodles.
Vegetable stays in place. little vegetable left over

Once I finished cutting up my vegetables I simple washed the slicer in warm soapy water and let air dry. The blades are store in the base of the slicer and on in use position. This is a must have in any home. I love this machine. I can make homemade hash browns, scalloped potatoes, amazing salads and vegetable pasta. This is a great kitchen tool and I love it.

PATRIOTIC DOG COLLAR AND LEASH REVIEW

The Patriotic collar is decked out in red, white and blue just in time for Fourth of July. The collar is ¾ in in width and expands up to 20 inches.
The collar’s D ring is securely attached but it does sit in the same loop as the clasp and the click together when Olivia is running around.  The clasp is secure and I love to hear the loud click when I close the clasp. The collar is smooth and soft and does not irate her in any way. It looks good on her.
It comes with a matching leash. The leash is 52 inches in length and made from the same nylon material. It has a metal hook that attaches securely to the D ring on the collar. This collar and leash are a great fit for Olivia.

.Olivia will be proudly showing her American Pride with her new Collar and Leash.
Olivia is looking very festive in her Fourth of July Collar.

SPLASH PET SHAMPOO AMBASSADORS - PUG SQUARED

We are honored to announce that SPLASH PET SHAMPOO has selected Olivia and Jaxon of Pug Squared to be a Brand Ambassador for them.  We are thrilled to work with such a great company.
The lovely mug Splash pet sent as a welcome gift.

Olivia and Jaxon tried Splash Pet Shampoo several months ago. It is a really lovely shampoo.  There is not a offensive fragrance as with some pet shampoos.  The shampoo really helps with the pugs itchy skin. Olivia tends to get very itchy after rolling in the grass and the shampoo gets rid of that itch. It leaves the pugs nice and clean and refreshed.

Olivia and Jaxon try to avoid baths.
Any other time they follow me into the bathroom but on Bath day they sit at the doorway.

JAXON SAYS ARE WE DONE YET. LOOK AT ALL THAT LATHER!

OLIVIA SAYS HMPH!  LOOK AT THAT SHAMPOO CLEAN!

BATH TIME TORTURE

Once the Bath is over comes the fun.  Olivia and Jaxon feel clean and invigorated from their baths and now its it time for some Bath Zoomies.

Now that the have tired themselves out time to nap in the sun!
Sweet babies!

If you have a pet with itchy dry skin or is prone to allergy skin try Splash Pet Shampoo. The itching will be a thing of the past!

SPIRALIZER VEGETABLE SLICER REVIEW

Zucchini noodles are delicious and easy to make with the Spiralizer Vegetable Slicer. This is a simple tool to use but it adds so much to your meals. You simply place the zucchini (squash or carrot) in the end and twist like you would a manual pencil sharpener. Then when you get to the end of the vegetable you simply place the cap on the end of the vegetable and use that to twist the vegetable down as far as possible. The noodles are so long and beautiful. It does leave some (maybe ½ inch) of the vegetable not sliced (see photo below) but that left can easily be chopped up. I was able to make zucchini noodles for my whole family in about 5 minutes. This Spiralizer has special sturdy Japanese stainless steel blades that cut through the vegetables like butter.
#SpiralVegetableSlicer

The Spiralizer Vegetable Slicer cleans up in a breeze. It comes with a handy little Bristol brush to remove any vegetable that gets stuck in the blades or the core. Once that is removed rinse the spiralizer and place in the top rack of your dishwasher. I have only had my slicer a week but have made zucchini spaghetti and chicken stir fry that even my son ate. I even put fresh squash and zucchini in my pasta salad it added a whole new flavor and crunch and the noodles made the dish look very pretty. This is going to be my go to gadget this summer with a garden full of fresh vegetables at my fingertips.

The Spiralizer Vegetable Slicer is a great product in my opinion. It is going to allow me to get more vegetables in my family’s diet and gives a new way to eat your veggies. I look forward to eating lots of summer vegetables using this tool.

STEWART FREEZE DRIED LIVER TREAT REVIEW

#StewartPet
The Stewart® Freeze Dried Liver Treats come in a nice plastic tub. I like this container as Jaxon is known to tear open treat bags in 3 seconds if he gets the chance. Not going to happen with this tub. The treats come sealed and the lid is easy enough to remove for me but it is PUG PROOF. Jaxon did give it his best try though.

Olivia and Jaxon LOVE their treats. When I sat down in the living room with a container they knew it must be something for them. They were all ready to do some treat tasting.

Olivia & Jaxon Reporting for Treat Testing Duty!

The minute I opened the lid the pugs started salivating. I was a little worried that freeze dried liver treats might be an odor I would not forget but it was not bad. It did send the pugs into their, oh my gosh if I do not get a bite of that treat in the next 2 seconds I might pass out mode.

Little Puff of Yumminess They remind me of cheese puffs.

These liver treats come in 7 different flavors and are all 100% liver. The pugs got to try the Turkey Liver. As my pugs tend to be food motivated and never full I always like to make sure they are eating healthy treats. These are high in protein and low in fat. Each treat is about 6 calories. Olivia and Jaxon get 1-2 treats a day. They highly disagree with this decision and try to look starved and sad to get more treats but Mom is on to that and it no longer works well most of the time.

Please can't we have another?

Olivia and Jaxon say that Stewart® Freeze Dried Liver Treats for Dogs should get 8 paws up! They highly recommend them because they are yummy. Mom says yes they are good wholesome treats so you can have them.
